How Do You Start? Is The Answer Coffee?
I love coffee!
That is why this newsletter is titled… “But First, Coffee!”
But is that truly the answer?
Is that the first thing you need in the morning?
As you may have read in past newsletters, I am a big “Morning Routine” person.
Part of that is coffee!
But first God, is truly how I start my day!
I am a true believer that God is my creator and the one who guides my footsteps.
"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you" Matthew 6:33
Through my cancer journey, that continues today, I seek Him every morning, knowing that He created me and He will heal me.
I believe Psalm 103:3 that says it is Jesus, "who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases".
Whether I am healed here on earth or some day in heaven, I know this to be true.
And I know that while I am here on earth, God wants me to be active and inspire and encourage others.
It is how he created me.
He is where it all starts for me.
I am Thankful and Blessed.
I believe that “God’s not done with me yet!” I have a lot yet to do!
So in my initial time with God, I express how thankful I am and set my mindset for the day. Then, after time with Him, I like my coffee. It helps start my motor and my actions for the day.

I am a musical guy and I often think of things as they relate to music.
To my Mama, life was a song. It was a musical. She often broke into song as it related to our conversations. And… I am my Mama’s Son. Happy and singing.
So I like to orchestrate my day. God, Mindset, Coffee, Exercise and Action.
What gets you going in the morning?
How do you orchestrate your day?
It helps to have a Purpose and a Plan. I start by trusting God and then planning and taking action. Always knowing that…
"Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails." Proverbs 19:21
I know I am better when I let God lead the way. He is my foundation!
What is your foundation?
How do you determine WHY you are here and what your PURPOSE is?
I encourage you to Trust God! Let Him lead the way.
When you have a solid foundation you can do amazing things.
But it’s up to you!
